The ICOSS centre is a 2 minute walk from the University of Sheffield tram stop. If you are arriving in Sheffield by train, take the blue line tram from the Malin Bridge tram stop (located directly behind the train station). Trams arrive every 10 minutes.
Tram tickets can be purchased directly from the ticket officer after you board the tram. Make sure you bring enough cash to pay for your ticket, as they do not accept card. Adult single tickets are approximately £2.10 and return tickets (ask for Tram only Dayrider) are £4.00.
Travel Options
By Car
There are two University-owned car parks. The closest is Q-Park Durham Road, located at the Western Park end of the university and is a 7 minute walk from the ICOSS centre. Parking charges apply.
Available parking around the campus is limited, so we suggest you pre-book a car space or arrive early. Parking spaces can be pre-booked here.
The program schedule has been organised to allow enough time for most participants to travel to the conference on the same day. However, here are a few options in the city centre if you are planning to stay the night.
